Remembrance Day 2018

On Monday 12th November, following Remembrance Day, KS2 gathered together to commemorate the fallen soldiers and casualties of wars past and present. During November, we wear poppies to show our gratitude and respect to those who have fought in wars and lost their lives for us. We also think of all the souls of loved ones who have passed away and take time to reflect and remember them. Mrs Bullock led Years 4, 5 and 6 in a beautiful Remembrance prayer service, with very fitting prayers and hymns. In other lessons and aspects of school life, children have been taking time to honour the fallen, creating thoughtful poems and beautiful poppy creations. Thank you parents and families for your continued support and donations for poppies.
