Phonics/Spelling

In today's lesson we will be looking at the alternative spelling patterns for /or/ sound

/or/ as in worn;   /-our/ as in four  

English

T: To listen to a story and answer questions.

In this lesson, we will hear a new story called 'Baba Yaga' and think about what we have understood from the story.

Reading

Look at a story book, draw a character and use adjectives to describe them.

Maths

T: To draw pictograms (2, 5 and 10)

This lesson continues from yesterday's activity lesson on pictograms.

Topic

Imagine you were an explorer like Emelia Earhart, where would you go? How would you get there? What different types of transport would you use? Draw a map of your journey (Like a story map). Use maps, books and computers to plot your journey. What countries would you go over? Be adventurous, use a hot air balloon, a motor bike , motor boats, trains. aeroplanes, cars, boats and ships etc.
