In this lesson, we will be investigating different materials and their properties.

For the experiment, you will need:

a coin; a ball/pad of cotton wool; a pencil; a small rock/stone; a bowl of water.

If you don't have these things you can watch the teacher in the video lesson and do the experiment with her, recording what you observe on your own record sheet/drawn table.

Watch the video lesson below and complete the activities.

I have put a record sheet below, or you can draw your own table on paper or in your homework book, like the one on my sheet and in the video lesson. Remember to write the date and the lesson target at the top of your work.
