Charity World Cup Day

On Thursday 28th June, in celebration of the current World Cup tournament, St Francis Xavier held a World Cup Day Obstacle Challenge in order to raise money for charity. Children brought money in order to come dressed in sportswear and football shirts and take part in such an exciting and fun-filled day! Year 6 children helped Mr Leese and Miss Turton to run the obstacle course and support each class as they took on the many challenges. As well as this, we are currently raffling off a World Cup Telstar football which the children are thrilled to have the chance of winning. The obstacle course alone has raised £215.31 - we are delighted to be able to send the money to UNICEF. Well done and thank you to all children and their families for their continued support. It is greatly appreciated.
