Simmering skills - What basic skills activities should I be doing every day?
- Reading: Spend some of your reading time reading to somebody else in your house. It could be a parent, sibling or even your pet!
- Spelling: You should also practise your phonic sounds as much as you can. There are links to Geraldine the Giraffe in the 'Useful links' section, that will help you with this. Pick one sound a day and see how many words you can make using that sound. Try and make a photo or a game for that sound!
-Maths: TT Rockstars and Numbots are AWESOME, but you can also practise your multiplication and number bonds on paper. Can you create a number bonds game that you could play with someone each day?
